Leaves and trees
A nice and cold afternoon at Quakjeswater. Walking with my heavy camera / lens combo and a tripod i have to decide what i want to shoot this time.
Along the way i saw this small platform in the middle of a large pond. Water is slowly rising in this area but still shallow enough to walk through with good waterproof boots on.
Some areas though are marshland so you must be careful.
On the islet i could walk around and saw all these great figures of trees reflecting in the water all around me with newly fallen leaves floating on the surface. There i had my subject!
I took all my images handheld (using my tripod for kneeling down on so i stayed dry) except for image number 1 for which i used the now famous method descriped here.
Sharpness was good on a lot of images maybe because i took them horizontal instead of vertical (what i used to do). It is a lot easier to shoot in landscape format. However, the one shot i used my tripod for, i have to say, is razor sharp where i wanted it to be.
You better view these images in the gallery.
