Autumn mood
Another morning at Quakjeswater. I begin to recognize some of the trees and spots already after so many visits. We had a few weeks of bad weather and a lot of rain and therefore some small ponds are already visible where there were none in the summer months.

Nikon Liveview (small) test
Everyone knows that Nikon’s engineers must have had a big blackout when they developed the liveview option in their professional camera range. I believe that it is solved with the newest models but on my D700 it has this curious flaw.

Carl Zeiss 2/100mm first test
I just exchanged my Nikon 1.4/85mm for a brand new Carl Zeiss Planar 2.0/100mm zf.2. What an amazing piece of art this lens is! It’s heavy but so beautiful finished. All metal and glass. No comparison with the plastic Nikon i had.
