Exhibition Rotterdam
Some ‘live’ shots from the exhibition started on Monday the 25th of October in the ‘Groene Passage’ in Rotterdam. This is sort of a shopping mall were they sell only organic food and environmentally friendly produced things.

A lazy sunday morning
A lazy sunday morning on the 1th of august. A moderate summer’s day, typical for Holland. The lake is quiet and friendly clouds are moving slowly accross the sky.

Movement #1
Today i took my Nikon and the 1.4/85MM for a test shooting. I screw off the lenshood and screw on the Singh-Ray Vari-ND filter. Then i put on the lenshood again. Because it is a variable filter, you can frame and focus the image in the lightest (min) position.

In this quiet place
Another cold winterday. I take the camera for a walk to the Bommelse gorzen between Den Bommel and Stad aan het Haringvliet. It is very quiet. Only the strange sound of geese mumbling on the shore can be heard. Nothing else. The sky is gray and passes slowly from the northeast.

First winter day
of the season. A 5 minutes walk from home lies the so called “Bommelse gorzen”. A nature reserve. About 160 ft wide and 3 miles long it is not that large. It is one of a few gorzen on the banks of Goeree-Overflakkee.
A “gors” is silted land situated between dikes and water that will not overflow during normal flood tide.

Reflections
Sometimes you have these rare and seldom days that the weather has turned the landscape into a magical wonderworld. Frost covers the trees standing on the shore of lake Haringvliet. It is a shame that these trees were removed last year.

Thunderstorm
A warm summer evening in July. It is almost noiseless outside. No wind. The only sound you here is a distant rumble of a thunderstorm. The evening colors are shifting towards a yellowish hue. This is a very strange experience.

Wind, Shadow, Clouds
This image (MG_0079) appeared immediately in my mind when i saw the shadow of this tree on the embankment (lake Haringvliet is behind it) Light was good, clouds were just in place. This one was not to miss.
The ‘twin’ clouds on the other image represents the stillness of that moment i think.

Miscellaneous II
Some oldies. The springflowers were taken in the province of Zeeland (zuid beveland). The other two, of course, are lake Haringvliet.

Miscellaneous I
These were shot with a Contax S2 camera. No digital capture. In those days i still worked with film. I did have a filmscanner.
