Exhibition Rotterdam
Some ‘live’ shots from the exhibition started on Monday the 25th of October in the ‘Groene Passage’ in Rotterdam. This is sort of a shopping mall were they sell only organic food and environmentally friendly produced things.

Autumn mood
Another morning at Quakjeswater. I begin to recognize some of the trees and spots already after so many visits. We had a few weeks of bad weather and a lot of rain and therefore some small ponds are already visible where there were none in the summer months.

Leave me alone, mosquito!
A beautiful morning at Quakjeswater. Almost a bit autumn-ish. The sun just rising, morning damp, spiders in their web, and a few deer (running away when they noticed me).

These are all fairy tales
Back in ‘my’ artificial wood. Fresh snow fell last night and the world seems like one big happy fairytale. (yeah) In the picture with the shadow you’ll see the curve of a dike, to prevent lake Haringvliet from flooding.

Dark forest
A free wednesday afternoon. The whether is fine and the autumn colors are awesome this time a year. Even for BW photography! So I take my bike (and camera) for a ride to a very, very small wood nearby.

First winter day
of the season. A 5 minutes walk from home lies the so called “Bommelse gorzen”. A nature reserve. About 160 ft wide and 3 miles long it is not that large. It is one of a few gorzen on the banks of Goeree-Overflakkee.
A “gors” is silted land situated between dikes and water that will not overflow during normal flood tide.

Reflections
Sometimes you have these rare and seldom days that the weather has turned the landscape into a magical wonderworld. Frost covers the trees standing on the shore of lake Haringvliet. It is a shame that these trees were removed last year.

Wind, Shadow, Clouds
This image (MG_0079) appeared immediately in my mind when i saw the shadow of this tree on the embankment (lake Haringvliet is behind it) Light was good, clouds were just in place. This one was not to miss.
The ‘twin’ clouds on the other image represents the stillness of that moment i think.

Large tree, small sheep
Yes. This image (BW20-28) is almost a famous one. Many people love this photo of a large poplar tree. It is the last one of a row standing along an embankment. I must say: was the last one, because the tree is gone. All the trees are gone. They were overaged. So they had to go. It’s such a shame.
Another day, just a few 100 meters away from the tree i saw some sheep. Very, very tiny sheep.
